




Ans--Ministry of Rural Development is conducting a nationwide survey on delivery of basic services under the campaign on Constitution and Fundamental Duties & National Event from 26th November 2019 to 14th April 2020 under which an assessment of deprived households captured under SECC 2011 data would be done regarding their ease of living on 16 household parameters on which Government flagship programmes have focused. This will capture the change in deprivation status of the household at local bodies level.
Ans--Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) aims to safeguard the health of women & children by providing them with a clean cooking fuel - LPG
Ans--Hon'blePrime Minister, on 5th January, 2015 launched the Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All (UJALA)to provide LED bulbs to domestic consumers with a target to replace 770 million incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs by March, 2019.
Ans--Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana is a National Mission on Financial Inclusion which has an integrated approach to bring about comprehensive financial inclusion and provide banking services to all households in the country.
Ans--The PMJJBY is available to people in the age group of 18 to 50 years which covers the life cover of Rs. 2 lakhs shall be for the one year period stretching from 1st June to 31st May and will be renewable. Risk coverage under this scheme is for Rs. 2 Lakh in case of death of the insured, due to any reason. The premium is Rs. 330 per annum.
Ans--The Scheme is available to people in the age group 18 to 70 years with a bank account which covers the risk coverage of Rs.2 lakh for accidental death and full disability and Rs. 1 lakh for partial disability. The premium of Rs. 12 per annum.
Ans--To strengthen and re-energize the programme and achieve full immunization coverage for all children and pregnant women at a rapid pace, the Government of India launched "Mission Indradhanush" in December 2014.
Ans--This programme is for early childhood care and development. The beneficiaries under the Scheme are children in the age group of 0-6 years, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
Ans--The Mission aims at creating efficient and effective institutional platforms of the rural poor, enabling them to increase household income through sustainable livelihood enhancements and improved access to financial services.
Ans--PMAY-G aims at providing a pucca house, with basic amenities, to all houseless householder and those households living in kutcha and dilapidated house, by 2022.
Ans--Ayushman Bharat aims to undertake path breaking interventions to holistically address health (covering prevention, promotion and ambulatory care). It provides cashless cover of up to INR5,00,000 to each eligible family per annum.
Ans--The programme aims at ensuring minimum national standard for social assistance in addition to the benefits that states are currently providing or might provide in future. It comprises of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS), Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS), National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS) and Annapurna.
Ans--Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is with a dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and cater to the career aspirations of rural youth.It is uniquely focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families.
Ans--The objective of this Scheme is to encourage and promote Skill Development for the youth throughout the country.
Ans--To generate employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas by setting up of self employment ventures.
